What are Lash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are single, individual false eyelashes. They are attached one-by-one to each individual natural eyelash— not to the skin. This service is beauty enhancing and eliminates the need to wear mascara. It is a meticulous service which requires the skill and precision of a certified lash technician.

How long is the treatment?

The application process for lash extensions normally takes anywhere from 1-2 hours. You will lay comfortably on a massage or facial table with your eyes closed. The Eyelash Technician will apply an under eye gel pad to cover your lower lashes . Then the extensions will be applied to each individual eyelash on a hair by hair basis. Maintenance lash refills are required every 2 to 3 weeks.

How long do eyelash extensions last before I need a fill?

If you follow the proper after care instructions, these lashes can last 3-4 weeks before you need a fill. However, it depends on your lash cycle.

How do I care for my eyelash extensions?

You must keep your eyelashes away from water for the first 24 hours. Avoid sauna's, steam rooms and facials for the first 48 hours after application. Never rub, pull or pick your eyelash extensions as this can cause your natural lashes to fall out or break.

Do not sleep on your face as this may cause the lashes to bend in the wrong direction.

Do not tint, curl, or perm your eyelash extensions.

Can I use mascara?

No, Mascara is not recommended

Do eyelash extensions damage my natural eyelashes?

No. Each lash extension is adhered to one single natural lash, which will grow out naturally as your own lash matures. The eyelash adhesive is formulated to create a solid bond, specifically for human lashes. The adhesive dries very soft on the lashes, allowing the lashes to stay flexible and bouncy just like your own lashes.

The application process is pain-free and relaxing that most clients fall asleep during the procedure. However, improper application by an unqualified eyelash technician can cause damage to your natural lashes. Only use a Certified Eyelash Extension Specialist.

How can I remove the lashes?

You must always have your eyelash extensions professionally removed to avoid damaging your natural eyelashes. Never pull or rub your eyes if you have any eyelash extensions on!

What should you do before your appointment?

Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with mild oil-free cleanser. Do not use oil-based makeup remover to clean your lashes prior to the application. Do not put on any mascara prior to your appointment. Please do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.
